   The Tektronix TSG111 is a low cost PAL test signal generator tailored for the testing and servicing of PAL television equipment. The 10-Bit digital signal generation and internal architecture allow signal generation with the accuracy and stability until now available only in higher cost generators. With the TSG111, you get all the signals needed to test levels, linearity, frequency response, phase response, clamp performance, picture monitor alignment and more.

The TSG111 signal includes:

   The TSG111matrix signal is composed of equal segments of CCIR 17, 18, 330, 331, UK 1, UK 2, 75% color bars, red field, 15 kHz squarewave, 50% flat field, shallow ramp and (sin x)x. A 700 mV white flag is provided on line 7, field 1 of the test signal output. Two channels of 1 kHz audio tone are provided on balanced XLR outputs. These phase locked tones are easily identified with the selectable ID pulse in channel 1. All of this comes in a package size small enough not to clutter the service bench. And for field servicing, the TSG111 fits nicely in a briefcase with the rest of the necessary service tools.
