Rent me for $400 a month

Includes

  • NSG603 AC/DC Line dropout and Variation Simulator
  • NSG622 Fast Pulse Simulator
  • NSG625 Fast Transient Simulator and Burst Simulator

   The multi-purpose Schaffner NSG600 plug-in system enables simulation of the very different types of interference, which occur on AC and DC networks. Data line testing is also possible. The system consists of the basic NSG600 unit and various plugins. All functions can be remotely controlled via a microprocessor. Mainframe contains operating section with system microprocessor, mains connection with central plug-in supply (change-over 110/220V on the main frame), a test object connection with pulse decoupling (mains socket exchangeable), a connection for RS232C remote control, and space for 4 plug-ins of standard width or 2 plug-ins double width.

NSG600 Technical Data

  • System Supply: 110/220 V (± 20%) 50/60 Hz switchable on main frame, connection via 6 A equipment plug
  • EUT Supply:
    * 15 to 264 VAC; 15 to 65 Hz/16A max; 65 to 500 Hz/6A max
    * 5 to 50 VDC/16A max
    * Connection via 16A equipment plug
    * Decoupled against generated transient pulses being fed onto the supply network
  • Test Supply Output: supply voltage with the selected interference superimposed via the mains socket (country specific) and safety banana plugs
  • HV Pulse Output: pulses without supply voltage: Fischer 5 kV coaxial socket (e.g. for data line coupling devices)
  • Remote Control: RS 232-C interface with supply for opto-link: Cannon 25 pol
  • Plug-in Outfit: 1 to 4 pieces

NSG 603 - AC/DC Line Dropout and Variation Simulator Plug-in

  • Dropout, Sag and Swell Simulations
  • Power to a device being tested can be either fully interrupted or made to deviate from the normal value
  • Connection for future expansion to 3 phase dropouts using NSG633

NSG 622 - Fast Pulse Simulator Plug-in
