   The Agilent/HP N1625A DSL TIMS Module is an advanced, two megahertz Transmission Measurement Test Set (TIMS), providing comprehensive line qualification testing for DSL, POTS, and ISDN services. This module plugs into and is powered by the N1610A Service Advisor Portable Test Tablet (sold separately) which provides a Windows CE based, color Graphical User Interface (GUI) for fast and easy Setup and Results monitoring. Frequency range: 50Hz to 2MHz. Agilent/HP's DSL TIMS modules for the Service Advisor test tablet provides comprehensive testing in a flexible, versatile tool for evaluating outside plant, line qualifications, physical layer testing, and troubleshooting.

Line Qualification Test Sequencing

   For analog services including VF-POTS and Modem.

Signal Frequency, Level, and Attenuation

   Frequency sweep provides fast wideband results that can be viewed simultaneously on the large display providing easy-to-read results at a glance.

Noise Tests

   Perform noise or noise with holding tone tests, impulse noise, noise balance, and noise to ground tests. View level, low, middle and high.

23-Tone Transmission Tests

   Powerful voice band measurement tool including level, signal-to-total distortion, signal-to-noise ratio, second and third order intermodulation distortion and envelope delay distortion.

Load Coil Detection Tests

   Detect load coils on the loop prior to installing DSL.

Internal Noise Impairments

   More powerful than weighted noise measurements, this module can be used to find noise created by other services on the same cable, identify noise and interference sources and verify proper modem transmit spectrum.

Phase Hits, Gain Hits, and Dropouts

   Easily set threshold and pass/fail criteria for each parameter. View numeric and graphical "meters" simultaneously.

Analog Signaling

   Supports loop-start trunk and, monitors signal states.
