Tektronix P6009
Description:
The P6009 is a
low-input-capacitance, high-voltage passive probe with a
signal attenuation of 100X. It is designed for use with wide-band,
real-time oscilloscopes, and may be used with any plug-in unit or
oscilloscope having a 1-megohm input resistance and an input
capacitance of 15 to 47 pf.

special BNC connector for readout oscilloscopes. The readout version is
recommended for use only with a TEKTRONIX 7000-Series Mainframe (with
readout) or the TEKTRONIX 485 Oscilloscope. When used with these
instruments, the special connector on the probe causes the oscilloscope
readout to switch, automatically correcting for attenuation of the
probe.
The P6009 consists of a
probe-body assembly, a
9-foot cable, and a compensating box assembly with a BNC connector. The
compensating box houses adjustments for optimizing the high-frequency
response of the probe.

Agilent/HP 1131A 3.5 GHz InfiniiMax Probe Amplifier Agilent/HP 1131A 3.5 GHz InfiniiMax Probe Amplifier Rent me for $350 a month The InfiniiMax 3.5 GHz 1131A probe amplifier (in conjunction with the E2669A differential or E2668A single-ended connectivity kits), was designed to be used with the Infiniium 2.5 GHz 54853A oscilloscope. This combination provides a full system bandwidth of 2.5 GHz to the probe tip. InfiniiMax maximizes measurement performance for both hands-on (e.g., browsing) or hands-off measurements, such as solder-in, socketed or SMA connections. Features Bandwidth:Range:- Dynamic Range: +/- 2.5V
- DC Offset Range: +/- 12V
- Maximum Voltage: +/- 30V
Input Impedance:- Differential Input R: 50 kOhm
- Differential Input C: 0.27-0.34 pF
- Single Ended Input R: 25 kOhm
- Single Ended Input C: 0.44-0.67 pF
The 1131A InfiniiMax Active Probing System allows probing of differential and single-ended signals to a bandwidth of over 3.5 GHz with excellent common mode rejection. Additionally, Agilent?s resistor-at-the-tip technology (introduced in the 115X probe family) provides high fidelity and low input loading. This system uses interchangeable probe heads to optimize the performance and usability of three connection types: hand browsing, solder-in and plug-on socket. Differential probe heads offer easy measurement of differential signals and greatly improve the measurement of single-ended signals. Single-ended probe heads offer extremely small size for probing single-ended signals in confined spaces with some reduction in performance. The probe heads provided for this system are:? Differential Hand-held Browser (or for probe holders) allows temporary connection to points in a system. This probe head provides the highest performance hand-held browser for measuring differential and single-ended signals while maintaining excellent usability due to the adjustable tip spacing and full z-axis compliance. ? Differential Solder-In Probe Head allows a soldered connection into a system for a reliable, hands-free connection. This probe head provides full bandwidth performance with the lowest input loading for probing differential and single-ended signals. At the tip it uses a miniature axial lead resistor with 8 mil diameter leads which allows connection to very small, fine pitch targets ? Differential Socket-Tip Probe Head provides sockets that accept 20 mil diameter pins with 100 mil spacing. The intended application for this probe head is to insert two of the supplied 20 mil diameter lead resistors into the sockets and then solder the resistors into the target system. This allows a removable, hands-free connection that provides full bandwidth with a minor increase in capacitance over the solder-in probe head for probing differential and single-ended signals. Additionally, 3.6 cm resistor tip wire accessories are provided for high fidelity lower bandwidth probing of signals with very wide spacing. It is recommended that a 25 mil diameter plated through hole on the board for mounting the lead resistors.? Single-ended Hand-held Browser (or for probe holders) allows temporary connection to points in a system for single-ended signals only. This browser has lower bandwidth than the differential browser, but is very small which allows probing in tight areas.

Agilent/HP 1145A 750 MHz 2 Channel Active Oscilloscope Probe
Agilent/HP 1145A 750 MHz 2 Channel Active
Oscilloscope Probe
Rent me for $100 a month
The Agilent 1145A active probe for surface mount devices, provides
an easy, lightweight, reliable connection to SMDs on PC boards and
backplanes while delivering active probe performance down to the
tip. Its unique design also presents a powerful combination of
industry standard compatibility and superior reliability. The probes
basic contact is a standard 25 mil square pin socket that houses
passive circuitry. The active circuitry is contained in a plastic
pod 13 inches from the tip. This design ensures a small, lightweight
and rugged tip.
Features
- 2 channels per assembly
- dc to 750 MHz probe bandwidth
- 10X attenuation
- Powered directly by Agilent 54520, Agilent 54522, Agilent
54540, and Agilent 54542 oscilloscopes
- Use the Agilent 1142A external power supply with any other
instrument with 50-ohm inputs
Surface-mount packages on PC
boards have become the norm rather than the exception. In the future, nearly 100 percent of both sides of a
typical PC board will use SMDs. As a result, bulky probes may become useless
as package sizes get smaller and
smaller.
The 2-channel Agilent 1145A provides
easy and reliable connection to SMDs
on PC boards and backplanes, while
delivering active probe performance
down to the tip. Its unique design
also presents a powerful combination
of industry-standard compatibility
and superior reliability. The probe?s
basic contact is a standard 25-mil
square pin socket that houses only
passive circuitry. The active circuitry
is contained in a plastic pod 13 inches
from the tip. This design ensures a
small, lightweight, and rugged tip.
The electrical performance of the
1145A is unmatched by any off-the shelf
probe designed for SMD probing.
The probe combines high bandwidth,
high input resistance, and low input capacitance. This combination
is superior to that of passive divider
probes that have higher input capacitance
because it provides minimal circuit
loading at high and low frequencies. As signal speeds increase,
passive divider probes don't deliver
the performance needed. This lower
performance can result in waveshapes
that do not represent the actual signal.
The 1145A used with an 54542A
scope, for example, introduces the
equivalent of only 1/2 of a typical
CMOS gate load (approximately 3.0 pF
per gate) to a CMOS circuit. Other
SMD probes used with comparable
scopes can introduce 1 1/2 or more gate
loads to the circuit under test.

Agilent/HP 1154A 500 MHz Differential Probe
Agilent/HP 1154A 500 MHz Differential Probe

For the Infiniium Series
Oscilloscopes
The 1154A is a wide-band differential active probe. The probe
features low noise, low input capacitance, high common mode rejection, and Field
Effect Transistor (FET) buffered inputs in the probe head. User-selectable
offset gives the probe flexibility to measure a large range of signal types.
Plug-on attenuators and AC coupling accessories further extend the application
range. Included interconnect accessories allow connection to surface mount and
through-hole components with minimal signal degradation. The input receptacles
in the probe head are compatible with standard 0.025" (0.635 mm) square pins,
which provide a convenient low-cost method of creating device characterization
test fixtures. The 1154A is ideal for acquiring high speed differential signals
such as those found in disk drive read channels, differential LAN, video, etc.
The high impedance characteristics of both inputs allow the probe to be used as
a FET probe to make single-ended measurements in digital systems without
introducing a ground loop as a conventional FET probe would.
The 1154A Differential Probe is a high input impedance
amplifier. A characteristic of differential amplifiers is the ability to reject
signals that are common to the two inputs. The common mode rejection ratio (CMRR)
is the measurement of this ability. It is expressed as the ratio between the
amplitudes of the common mode and differential signals that produce equal
outputs. These measurements can be referred to the probe input, if the
differential gain is known. The CMRR is usually expressed in dB: The CMRR is
only specified for unity Gain. The ability to reject common mode signals depends
on the balance designed into the probe amplifier. As the frequency of the common
mode signal increases, it becomes harder to balance the amplifier parasitic
parameters. This leads to degradation of the CMRR.
The CMRR of the 1154A Differential probe is specified from the
probe tip. This method of specifying the probe CMMR eliminates the effects of
source impedance, provided the connections from the probe tip to the signal
source are symmetrical.

Agilent 1152A 2.5 Ghz Active Probe
Rent me for $200 a month
The Agilent
1152A active probe's bandwidth, superior accuracy, and reliability make it an
ideal companion for the Agilent 54845A 1.5 GHz bandwidth oscilloscope. The low
input capacitance of the active probe eliminates distortion caused by excessive
loading. As frequency increases, probe tip capacitance decreases the impedance
of the probe by Xc=1/(2pi*fC), resulting in measurement error, depending on the
source impedance of the output device. The Agilent 1152A's low tip capacitance
becomes a distinct advantage as frequency increases. Nonintrusive, reliable
probing provides faithful reproduction of signals.
Features
- 2.5 -GHz bandwidth
-
140 ps rise time
- 1% long-term flatness
- ±0.5% dc gain accuracy
- 200 Vac max input

One of the main advantages of the these antennas is that they
are not "naked" (directly exposed to the atmospheric elements). The antenna
houses their gold plated, Teflon elements in a specially constructed, high
technology Radom housing. This Radom housing was designed in such a way that its
shape, material and special coating have virtually no influence on measurements;
not even in the case of dew or humidity collection on the surface. And of course
the Radom housing helps to prevent oxidation, fissures, and general physical
damage.
Professional broadband measurement antennas have one distinct
disadvantage, they are extremely expensive. The HyperLOG® series of antennas
offers a cost-effective alternative while maintaining above industry
specifications and standards. Whatever your antenna needs - point to point
communication, fixed receiving, voice, data, machine control, or for use with
Spectran RF Spectrum Analyzers - the HyperLOG antennas represents a true cost
effective alternative!

Kaltman Creations NF3010 10 Hz-400 KHz EMF Field Analyzer Kaltman Creations NF3010 10 Hz-400 KHz EMF Field Analyzer Rental and lease options are available please call Look at the Price!
Measurement of electric and magnetic fields in this price range has never been this PROFESSIONAL. Find radiation sources in your surroundings. Find their respective frequencies and signal strengths, including direct display of exposure limits. This used to be impossible in this price category, professional units often costing several thousand euros and being excessively complicated in handling. The highly complex calculations in spectrum analysis incl. exposure limit calculation is being performed, unnoticed in the background, by a high-performance DSP (digital signal processor). Exposure limit calculation used to be a complex and awkward procedure even for the professional, as most of the time, a chaotic mixture of an abundance of different frequencies, modulations and signal strengths is present. The indispensible, highly complex calculation of frequency-dependant exposure limits can ONLY be performed CONFORMING TO STANDARDS by a spectrum analyser with high-performance software. Not a problem for SPECTRAN® units: They can calculate even several authoritative exposure limits, precautionary limits and recommendations at lightning speed (simply selectable via a button) and display these overruns as a practical bargraph display (including convergence display in percent!), while the measurement is running. For achieving this, often thousands of complex calculations have to be performed per second, and a steady scan of the entire frequency range needs to be performed. A true nightmare for every processor. In our test case, the graphic display shows an approximation towards the ICNIRP limit by 6,06%. You can even cover the total ICNIRP-banwidth (depending on frequency). Hence, even the novice can perform exposure limit calculations ACCORDING TO STANDARDS without having to use complex tables and calculators. It really can't get any simpler. Features - Big graphics display (pixel display) with 51x25 pixels (can be used for complex spectrum and exposure limit display, convenient menu navigation, etc.)
- HUGE numeric display (4 digits, max. 9999)
- Large, high-resolution bargraph (50 segments) for very responsive trend display
- Various function and mode indication display blocks (AUDIO, MODE, MEMORY etc.)
- Large multi-function text display (6 text fields / e.g. for displaying units, service information, etc.)
- Three further big numeric displays (4 digits each, each max. 9999 / e.g. for simultaneous display of MIN, MAX, AVG values, 3 marker values, etc.)
- Triple multi-function text displays (Next to each of the previously described numeric displays / 3x3 text fields each / used e.g. for unit display for markers, etc.)
- Three more multi-function text displays (directly beneith the previously described displays / 3x6 text fields each / e.g. ADDITIONAL values AND unit display for markers, etc.)
- Battery status and charging display (incl. "CHARGING" and "LOW")
- 6 numerical displays for flexible bargraph scaling (incl. multiplication factor and percentage display)
