Eagle Signal Flexopulse Analog Dial Timer
The Eagle Signal Flexopulse is an analog timer with a range of 20 minutes. Setting is through analog arms and the supply voltage is 120 volt 60 hertz. Easy to operate and get results fast. A cycle progress pointer oscillates between the ON and OFF time setpoints. As this pointer crosses the zero point on the dial, two internal 10 amp SPDT output switches transfer. The transfer point of the output switches is adjustable to allow a make before break (overlap) or a break before make (dwell) switch action. The overlap or dwell time interval is limited to 1.5% of the total (ON plus OFF) time cycle. A synchronous unidirectional motor drives the unit through precision gearing. Instant reversing of the progress pointer is accomplished by positive mechanical action.

Leader LF826 550 MHz Frequency Counter
Incorporating the latest developments in counter technology the Leader LF826
extend high resolution readings over very wide frequency ranges and make use of
calculator modes to meet the needs of assembly line and quality control
applications. A technique of high speed reciprocal counting is applied to input
A signals to produce high resolution at low frequencies. (Older counters
required period readings with calculated reciprocals to obtain similar
resolution). Direct counting is applied above 10 MHz and a prescaler technique
is applied to B input signals above 80 MHz. The result is accurate,
high-resolution reading across the entire frequency range.

Error-Free Triggering
Triggering is error-free on the PM 6666 for all waveforms. Trigger level setting can be automatic on all input signals over 100 Hz. Resolution is 20/200 mV, over a very wide range (-50V to +50V) that allows measurements to be accurate even on high voltage events. The trigger level can be displayed immediately with one keystroke; and inputs can be instantly checked for triggering with the Tri-state LED trigger indicators. To give the various noise immunity settings, input sensitivity has six steps, from 20 mV to 1V rms. V pp measurements up to 50 MHz. The PM 6666 has Volt peak measurements up to 50 MHz. When displaying Vmax. / min. measurements, positive and negative signal peaks of the input signal are shown simultaneously with a resolution of 20 or 200 mV.
High Resolution
The PM 6666 can measure low frequency signals to high resolution with synchronized multiple period measurements and computing the reciprocal values. Resolution is at least 7 digits on a 1s measuring time, because the traditional ± 1 input cycle error is eliminated. Time interval measurements are high resolution
Sencore FC71 1 GHz Frequency Counter
The Sencore FC71 is a portable, digital frequency counter which directly measures any frequency from 10Hz to 1GHz with accuracy that exceeds FCC requirements. The FC71 maintains useable accuracy over a wide temperature range and does not require a warm up time. It uses a microprocessor-compensated timebase that eliminates the need for an oven. This means the FC71 runs a full day on a single battery charge. A supplied AC adapter/recharger allows bench operation, while a supplied cable allows the FC71 to be powered from an outside source of 12VDC. Special shielding, along with a metal RF resistant case, provides interference-free operation even near the most powerful transmitters. The 8V2 digit display is readable under almost any lighting condition. Annunciators for "Hz", and "MHz", combined with automatic leading zero suppression, allow quick, interpretation-free readings.Rent me for $100 a month
In addition, two annunciators monitor the condition of the battery while another warns you if the 50 ohm input fuse has been damaged by an overload. One function switch selects the counter function, the frequency range and which input is used. The FC71 has three inputs. The first is a high impedance, 1 megohm input which minimizes circuit loading. This input has very good sensitivity. A sensitivity control reduces sensitivity on noisy signals to provide a stable reading. Diodes protect this input from overload. The second input to the FC71 is terminated in 50 ohms to reduce cable ringing and other effects of mismatch on high frequency signals.
Like the 1 megohm input, the 50 ohm input has very good sensitivity which is also adjustable for obtaining stable readings on noisy signals. A fuse protects the 50 ohm input against overload. The third FC71 input is Sencore's exclusive Crystal Check. Any crystal can be checked for activity by simply inserting it into the front panel test socket and reading its approximate fundamental frequency.
A choice of two gate times allows either fast update for troubleshooting or a slower update and extra resolution when you need readings with extra accuracy. The FC71 provides resolution down to ,01Hz without an external prescaler or gate times over 1 second. The FC71's ratio test automatically calculates the ratio of two frequencies which are applied to it. The frequencies can be applied to either input, and can range from 10Hz to 1GHz. The ratio test greatly simplifies troubleshooting digital programmable dividers and testing the frequency multiplier stages in high frequency communications transceivers
Stanford Research Systems SR620 Universal Time Interval Counter
Rent me for $150 a month
The Stanford Research Systems SR620 Time Interval Counter performs virtually all of the time and frequency measurements required in a laboratory or ATE environment. The instrument's single-shot timing resolution and low jitter make it the counter of choice for almost any application.
SR620 Measurements
The SR620 measures time interval, frequency, pulse-width, rise and fall time, period, phase and events. Time intervals are measured with 25 ps rms resolution, making the SR620 one of the highest resolution counters available. Frequency is measured from 0.001 Hz to 1.3 GHz, and a choice of gates ranging from 1 period to 500 seconds are provided. The SR620 delivers up to 11 digits of frequency resolution in a 1 second measurement. It's suitable for measurement applications ranging from short-term phase locked loop jitter, to long-term drift of atomic clocks. All measurement modes are supported by a wide variety of flexible arming and triggering options.
Features
- 25 ps single-shot time resolution
- 1.3 GHz frequency range
- 11-digit frequency resolution (1 s)
- Statistical analysis & Allan variance
- Graphical output to XY scopes
- Hardcopy to printers and plotters
- GPIB and RS-232 interfaces
Histograms and Strip Charts
Unlike conventional counters that only have numeric displays, the SR620 Frequency Counter provides live, graphical displays of measurement results. Graphical data is available in three formats: a histogram showing the distribution of values within a set of measurements, a strip chart of mean values from successive measurements, or a strip-chart of jitter (standard deviation or Allan variance) values from successive measurements. Up to 250 strip chart points, or histogram bins, can be displayed.
Both histograms and strip charts can be displayed on any oscilloscope with an X-axis input (see the pictures above), or can be plotted on an HP-GL compatible plotter or dot-matrix printer. Convenient cursors allow you to read the value of any data point in the histogram or strip chart. Autoscale and zoom features make it simple to display all, or any portion, of the graphs.
Complete Statistical Calculations
The SR620 Time Interval / Frequency Counter can make measurements on a single-shot basis, or calculate the statistics of a set of measurements. Sample sizes from one to one million can be selected. The SR620 will automatically calculate the mean, standard deviation or Allan variance, minimum and maximum for each set of measurements.
Reference Output
A precision 50 % duty cycle square wave (1 kHz) is available at the front-panel REF output. The REF output can be used as a source of start or stop pulses for any of the SR620's measurement modes. For instance, the length of a cable connected between REF and the B input can be precisely determined by measuring the time delay between REF and B.
