Plugs in to a Astromed Dash-IV and provides temperature measurement
capability. Designed for Type T Thermocouples. Type T thermocouples have a
positive copper wire and a negative Constantan wire. They are commonly used for
moist or sub-zero temperature monitoring applications because of superior corrosion resistance and greater homogeneity of the component wires that reduce errors due to
temperature gradients.
Suited for measurements in the −200 to 350 °C range. The positive
conductor is made of copper, and the negative conductor is made of
constantan. Often used as a differential measurement since only copper wire
touches the probes. As both conductors are non-magnetic Type T
thermocouples are a popular choice for applications such as Electrical
Generators which contain strong magnetic fields. Type T thermocouples have
a sensitivity of ~43 µV/°C

Gould TA11 Portable Recording System
The TA11 combines 8 or 16 channels of integrated signal conditioning, high
resolution thermal array paper output (up to 200 mm/s), an LCD display and front
panel controls. Capturing channels at up to 35 kHz bandwidth, the TA11 offers an
optional memory module for data storage, as well as for transferring channel
setups. Sacrificing neither performance nor capacity, the TA11 recorder
addresses most recording system applications.
Signal Monitoring
The TA11 integrates a large LCD panel into a flip-panel to provide the
recording-system function of signal monitoring. While viewing signals on the
monitor, you can set trace position, signal gain, and signal offset without
running the chart. The system displays signals on its monitor as they occur.
Instead of waiting for the chart or changing the chart speed momentarily, you
view signal changes immediately on the monitor.
Signal Conditioning
Eight or 16 channels of factory installed signal conditioners are integrated
into the TA11's portable package. Basic DC single-ended inputs have ranges from
100 mV to 100 VFS. General purpose DC/RMS differential, impedance protected
inputs have ranges from 25 mV to 500 VFS plus RMS and zero suppression to 1000
V. Specialized signal conditioners record special industrial signals--such as
pressure, flow, temperature, rotational speed and high voltage--and medical
signals--such as blood pressure, EMG, and ECG.
Signal Capture
Use the TA11 to capture signals of frequencies up to 35 kHz. Trigger to
capture transient events by pressing a front-panel button, by time, or on any
combination of channels.
Storing Setups and Signals
Both battery-backed memory and an optional, built-in memory-card drive can be
used to store complete TA11 recorder setups--channel settings, annotation, grid
formats, etc. Captured signals can be stored as DOS files on memory cards as an
archive for later playback and analysis on the recorder.
Hard Copy Output
A Gould engineered technique called Micropulsing® (U.S. patent number
4,937,590) precisely controls the temperature of each style of the thermal-array
print head for the best contrast at any speed. Select the grid format that fits
your application from seven predefined and full-width, overlapping grids.
Simultaneously record up to 16 analog and 16 event channels. Overlap all signals
with independent size and position for maximum resolution and comparative study.

The use of Sony's unique compact mechanics and LSI
technology has enabled the manufacture of compact, lightweight PC216Ax
{297 mm (W) x 220 mm (D) x 70 mm/100 mm (H) and approx. 3.5 kg/4.5 kg} that can
be carried in an attache case or traveling bag to the field. The PC216Ax
operates on AC, DC or with an internal rechargeable battery for easy
indoor/outdoor measuring. The 2-way power supply (AC/DC or DC/battery) backs up
the data in case of power failure in either case.
By doubling both the longitudinal tape speed and
the rotational speed of the head drum, double bandwidth record/playback has been
achieved: The multiband/channel modes offer a wider variety of combinations of
the frequency and a number of channels. Added with the switchable
record/playback speed (normal and double) mode, a yet more flexible data
gathering is possible.
Being capable of two speed modes. The time taken
for data analysis can be halved by reproducing recordings made at the normal
speed in the double speed mode. Alternatively, recordings made in the double
speed mode can be played back at the normal speed for precision monitoring. Up
to 6-hour recording/playback is possible (with a 120m DDS tape at the normal
speed). The use of 16-bit linear quantization (using the least significant bit
for the LSB digital channel) achieved a broad dynamic range of 80 dB or more
(within the bandwidth), which is only possible with PCM, making the setting of
the input range an easy task. In addition, an interchannel phase difference of
less than 1deg(PC204Ax/208Ax) or less than 2deg(PC216Ax) has been attained by
compensating the phase variations occurring in the analog filters with digital
filters.
Complying with world's major safety / EMC
regulations (UL and EN61010-1; FCC and EN55011-A {EMI}; EN50082-1 {EMS}), the
PC216Ax can be relied on for safety and reliability. At power-on or in
self-check, the offset and gain of the analog circuits are automatically

Connecting to a PC using USB Just as for RS232 and GB-IB, you can write your own custom programs in Visual C++ 6.0 or Visual Basic 6.0 to control the DL750 through a USB interface. PC communications are made easy with the Waveform Viewer and Wirepuller software programs. USB keyboards, USB mouse and USB printers can be directly connected to the DL750. Connecting to a PC or WWW using Ethernet The DL750 has a variety of server functions that let you perform remote controls or download waveform data and screen images onto a PC. You can also access the DL750 through the Internet Explorer. Just as for RS232 and GB-IB, you can write your own custom programs in Visual C++ 6.0 or Visual Basic 6.0 to control the DL750 through a USB interface. The Yokagowa DL750 ScopeCorder combines the functions of an oscilloscope for capturing instantaneous phenomena and a data recorder for monitoring long-term trends. The DL750 is an 8-Slot Recorder w/up to 16 analog channels and 16 logic inputs depending upon input modules selected. DualCapture functionality performs data acquisition on the same waveform at two different sampling rates. GigaZoom functionality allows instantaneous full-length display of data. During durability testing, it is necessary to monitor the longterm trends of your data as well as capture the high speed transients that might occur. This presents a challenge as trend data is usually recorded at a slower sampling speed that might miss the transient phenomena. To meet this challenge, the DL750 offers the DualCapture function. Using DualCapture, you can now record your trend data with a slow sampling speed and still be able to capture the transient phenomena with a faster sampling speed.
